Hi all
I have been hearing so much about drama on the zone here and things. It is one thing to have fun but some people are not liking it here because you guys just have nothing better to do than to cause dramma all the time. If you guys are that bord you need to get a job people and things. Those who have been causing drama know it and need to stop.
iI know some people that are friends of mind that are going to the zone by phone because some of you guys choose to fill this site with dramma.
It is upsetting to me that people can't be nice to each other. If you can't be nice to a particular person don't talk to that person there are things like putting the person on ignore and things.
Honestly, in this bord post, *you contribute nothing most people don't realize already.*
Not to be a total ass or anything but people wine about things like this all the time on other bords (and I'll admit, many of the biggest winers are the ones pulling the crap) but, I really don't see how another vague post like this really contributes anything meaningfull that could produce any kind of change in our comunity.
I know striker but the thing is people that have or one person in particular that is friends with me talked about people putting people down and causing drama amunkst each other.
I think even on zone by phone there is allot of drama once and a while. I just want to talk not fool around. and kid around. Blind people should be helping each other not putting each other down by going behind their backs don't say anything inless it is nice.
Things need to be allot better moderated. Even the phone system should be watched

You're the same guy who was upset because your church didn't want you at their confrance. Many people have tried to help you, and you were mean to all of them. Perhaps it's time to look in the mirror. as far as anyone needing to get a job, do you have one? Are you using your cane yet, or does Daddy still take you sighted guide? To the original poster, please, do us all a favor, grow up and stop wasting board space. Seriously, this topic comes up again and again by people who have no real world experience, so they take it out on those who do...I am in no way justifying bullying or anything like that, but if you don't like what someone says to you on this site or any other, either put that person on ignore, grow some balls and not care what virtual people say (yes I know they are real people, but as far as you're concerned, a person you don't know in real life shouldn't be able to hurt you.) I know of several times, especially when I was a bit younger and a lot more immature, that I pissed people off with things I said in the boards here. You know what I learned? Bitching and sulking about it gets you nowhere. There were a couple times when I took a break from the zone for awhile because I wanted certain things to blow over, and I was just fine. If your life revolves around this site, or anything else Internet-based, I suggest you A. get out in the world and experience life, and B. perhaps get yourself some psychological help.
I laughed at Miss M's post here. It was truly an amusing post. To the original poster, you're going to have to learn to deal with drama. There are some people that are stupid and some that are nice. If you don't like certain people, put them on ignore. That's why it's there. Otherwise, deal with it. I don't mean to be harsh, but some people on here need to grow up.

I have to admit, I was like that when I first started here. I would always moan and groan about all the drama that was going on in this place, and they'd always tell me to shut up and put them on ignore if I didn't like it. And the craziest thing is that I'd always try and contradict myself. I would get mad at the person and put that person on ignore, and then a few hours later, I'd take them off ignore and try giving them points or something like that, telling them that I liked that person. Ask some of those people who I ignored and they'll tell you the same thing. But after a while, I started getting used to this drama and quit whining about it. And you ought to do the same thing because this is how the real world is, my friend. If you can't accept that, then people will not like you.
Wow. I'm psychic. I knew pretty much everything that was going to be said before even reading this board. Or wait, maybe it's just that I've seen it over and over again. Hm.

1: i've seen you before in public quicknotes causing drama and making people feel sorry for you so don't complain about it, because you've done it as well.
2: if you're like this on the zone, i'd hate to think what you are like in real life. do you honestly expect everything drama free?. if you don't like drama on the zone, or where ever else you may find it, then either learn to deal with it, or just don't go there. no where does it say in stone you have to log in here and listen to it, that's your problem.

Better yet go down to your local railroad station and just start walking the tracks. I assure you that will change your physical state and send a rather interesting message to boot. i was around when indeed anthony and doug and some others trying to help you with your mobility/independent/camp issue, from memory, the one whom you wanted to attend is somewhare in NY. if you wish, i could post the whole convo history here to see who's the one who made up the drama, shall i? most of us who log in and participate in public qn in that particular time frame trying to help you by giving suggestion and stuff, but you decline it all.

Roller Coaster Fan, with every post you write, you only prove that the only hypocrite on this topic is you. With each of your posts you show more and more that you, not others, are the creator of the drama. As many others have said, nine times out of ten, it is the ones who cause the most drama that do the most bitching about it. I truly wish people like you would just get a life. But since you clearly lack the inteligence to do that, I wish people like you would simply leave the site. And, if you want to be taken seriously, aside from growing up, you really should learn to write properly.

Remember this is the guy who made a post last year advising us to not speak to somebody who wasn't even a Zoner because they apparently wronged him in some way or the next. I'm all about no drama as such, but I think having a good thick skin and not allowing yourself to be offended easily is key to survival at any point in life.

Drama is just a part of life. I find it quite amusing.
To those who have commented on RCF's supposed Christianity, I will say this. Please do not judge all Christians on this guy's behavior, or any one Christian's behavior, for that matter. We are not all alike, just as any group of people are not all alike.

This is not drama. It's all a matter of perspective. I see the entire ordeal as a commedy that just keeps getting more stupid as it goes on. Margorp and Fighter, what do you mean that those of us Christians who aren't like that should talk to those who are? Do you mean we should try and talk some sense into them? I would agree, except that you can't talk sense into someone who refuses. RCF, and others like him, clearly will not listen to anyone, no matter how logical that person might be. People like this guy don't want to hear common sense.

Lots of us have tried, quite patiently I might add, but speaking of beating dead horses, this is also clearly the case with rcf. He is resigned to the fact that he will never go anywhere or do anything, so would rather make up excuses to justify his lacking being a productive member of society.
What I meant is that the christians who don't act like that should try to talk to the more...fundamentalist ones or whatever you call them and try to get them to be more tolerant. They obviously give the religion a bad name.

It's tough because those of us not like that, perhaps late converts and the like, are often seen by extreme fundamentalists as 'worse' than unbelievers. Same goes for muslims who aren't in the extreme category. I've been surprised to learn of many who think like I do, but are similar in that we tend to be on the edges. Basically, if you don't do as they, and think as they, you are immediately written off in a way that no nonbeliever could be. I agree with Alicia on this, try and not blame Christianity for the actions of the extremists, or the actions of us for that matter when we blow it ourselves. I've known a couple muslims who dealt with the same issue, and we had that in common, the extremists of our own groups could be much harder on us than they ever would conceive of being to outsiders, believe it or not.
I still think extremism is a mentality, perhaps a mental condition I don't know. I've even seen vegans go at each other out here on the west coast: you have one who like you or I would be reasonable, not make an issue of it, just order their food in a restaurant with you. Contrast that to those that will call you a filthy meat-eater, and worse yet rail on their fellow vegan for going to eat out with you. Same phenomenon I think, and requires the assistance of someone with a greater understanding of the human mind than I have.

Fighter, thanks for the compliment. I really do appreciate it. And yes, you spelled my name correctly. I do try to explain things patiently to people, and am sincere in what I say. However, Jessica is also right. With some people, RCF being one, it really is like beating a dead horse. You can only try for so long before you figure out that someone is not going to listen. And, I admit, though I try to be patient with people, I sometimes totally lose it and can turn nasty, as most of us can.
Margorp, yes, people like that do give Christianity a bad name, I agree, and it upsets me. But I can't control that. I can only control my own behavior as a believer. Like Robo said, often the most sincere and level-headed Christian blows it, though. And Robo, good point about extremists, of any religion or group.
My x girlfriend Chelsey is a lot like RCF. A very black and white thinker who more often than not refuses to hear the possibility that other points of view than hers could be even remotely correct or accurate. Robozork's mention of Muslims reminded me of that. I've not quite a few reasonable, level-headed Muslims who were really no different from you or I apart from their religion. But Chelsey told me point blank once that if she were president she would automatically add all Muslims and/or people from the Middle East to the no-fly list when in fact it's a comparitively small group of raddicals who are giving the rest of them a bad name.

Since this topic has been sent towards the top of the new posts list, I see no real harm in posting here. I find this, and other similar discussions amusing. Sure, some people may call me a hipocrit for saying that after all the shit I got involved in last year, but i've moved on now and I can look back on it all and laugh. On a different note, I do wonder whether this guy happens to be the same asshole that operates the @angryblindy twitter account under the name Timmy G, based on this guy's style of writing and attitude. For those that don't know what i'm on about, load up the timeline for @angryblindy on twitter and you'll soon see where i'm coming from.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the original post was meant to try and stop drama, but instead it simply caused far more than it averted? It's difficult for people to take a person seriously if they insist that everyone be nice to one another, and then start calling people liars and "pieces of junk". Just sayin'.
Oh, and by the way, Rollercoasterfan, if you're planning to curse the air blue and call people a bunch of names, at least make an effort to spell said names and curses correctly. Just a tip.
P.S. Canada is in no way responsible for your problems. It's a pretty decent country to live in if you're blind. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damned good.
